This is a fun Disney Resort themed after the Caribbean Islands so it is a relaxing place to come home to after your day at the Disney Theme Parks
You have lots of resort amenities including hammocks on the beach, Sand Castle pool with waterslide, and marina with boat rentals. You can take an evening stroll on the boardwalk around the lake.

This resort is very spread out with lots of rooms but you can pay a little bit extra to be in a Preferred Room which is located right next to the Food Court, restaurant, main pool, and transportation.
Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort is located towards the middle of the Disney World Resort so you are fairly close to all of the Disney Theme Parks
